Logan Paul may love his YouTube career, but hes made it clear that he certainly doesnt want to do it forever, claiming that being a YouTuber is whack.
Were not sure everyone will be gutted by the news, TBH.
The 23-year-old, who boasts a following of more than 18 million, voiced his thoughts to fans on his Instagram Stories, writing: Youtubes dope. internet based content is awesome. but i have a veeeeeery deep desire to do MORE.
Stand-up comedy. music. directing films. writing. im just stuck in a loop where my stupid millenial brain is so satisfied with the instant gratification that social media provides.
Post a vlog. get views. post a pic. get likes… its like ive been conditioned to lack the patience of investing in the deeper art of entertainment.
Do i continue making internet shit? he asked fans? or do i take 1-2 years of low character building to become a super entertainer?
He added: I dont want to be a youtuber for the rest of my life. F*** that. in fact, i think being a “youtuber” is whack… its a very limiting pigeonhole that will not provide the longevity of stardom im looking for.
Logan ended the message by urging: SOME1 GIVE ME ANSWERS PLS.
The controversial YouTube star added a poll to his Instagram Stories, with stick with YouTube on one side and Takeover Hollywood on the other. Because how else are you meant to make important life decisions.
Logans unexpected comments come after his bizarre flat earth mockumentary, which was divisive to say the least.
More: Logan Paul
While some were simply relieved that he hadnt actually come out of the flat earth closet, others, including PewDiePie, werent impressed.
Some people – some dumb-balls – still think the Earth is flat, the gamer said in a video. My god. How can you be so stupid?
As a shot of Logan, 23, flashed up on the screen, Pewds added: Logan Paul, thats right – disappointed.
