Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham will host NTAs together as they continue to spark rumours of reconciliation

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham may be enjoying one of the most mature break-ups of the year as they have confirmed they will continue to host the 2018 National Television Awards together – and have stayed close to each others families.

The pair enjoyed some bants on Instagram on Saturday after 22-year-old Dani shared a picture of her grandmother Christine raising a glass of wine during a family meal.

Here she is, commented Jack on the picture, to which Dani wrote back: @jack_charlesf she loves ya.

The pair won Love Island this past summer, but called time on their romance five months after leaving the villa.

Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. Its been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly weve come to the realisation that its not mean to be long-term, Dani confirmed on Instagram on Thursday.

We both plan to stay friends, I hope youll all understand. Love, Dani xx, she added.

However hours later the post has been removed from the social sites, leaving fans confused as to the status of their romance – and what their split means for their upcoming projects.

It was confirmed just two weeks ago that Jack and Dani would be involved at the awards night, as in mid-November the pair revealed they had been asked to work alongside TV legend Dermot OLeary at the National Television Awards

A spokesperson for the ceremony however confirmed in a statement that the pair will continue to share the spotlight at the annual awards show.

As winners and stand-out stars of one of this years most talked about shows, Love Islands Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham will continue in their roles as hosts of the red carpet and backstage and all our social media channels on the night, they said.

Despite the recent news about their relationship, we are delighted they remain friends and we look forward to working with them at the upcoming NTAs.

One person who is reportedly happy at the split though is Danis actor father Danny Dyer, with a source claiming that the EastEnders actor wants Dani to shine on her own.

It has been claimed that Danny and his wife Jo Mas believed that Dani, 22, was a harder worker than her boyfriend and that shed be more successful as a single pringle.

A source told The Sun: Her dad Danny and her family warned her early on that they didnt think sticking by Jack was the best idea. They thought shed be stronger alone. Her dad tried to advise her as much as he could.

They had a few words with Dani but ultimately it was her choice and theyd never stand in the way.

They added: Danis family are overjoyed. Of course they like Jack but this is Danis time to shine.
