Once upon a time in Hollywood, director Quentin Tarantino found his happy ever after!
The Pulp Fiction director, 55, secretly tied the knot with fiancée Daniella Pick, 35, in Los Angeles on Wednesday, 18 months after their engagement.
People reports that an intimate ceremony would be followed by a large evening gathering, which will no doubt be a very starry affair.
Israeli singer and model Daniella, the daughter of songwriter Tzvika Pic, looked exquisite in a pure white silk dress with tiara crown and waist-length veil, while her new husband wore a simple dark suit.
Tarantino, a man who famously said that a wife or child may get in the way of his movie-making, announced his engagement to Danielle in June 2017.
He said that they were very happy and excited to be planning a wedding, eight years after first meeting during a promotional tour for Inglorious Basterds in 2009.
The director previously came close to getting married, but says if that had happened, I wouldnt have made Inglourious Basterds, or at least not with the same intensity.
Yet Daniella came along after the film was made, and they are believed to have dated for a short time in 2009 before reuniting in 2016.
And she seemed to have changed his opinion on marriage, since he previously said that movie-making was his Mount Everest and now was his time to create, not procreate.
Heres the thing. When Im doing a movie, Im not doing anything else. Its all about the movie. I dont have a wife. I dont have a kid. Nothing can get in my way.
The whole world can go to hell and burst into flames. I dont care.
This is my life. Its Mount Everest. If youre climbing Mount Everest, youre not doing anything else.
All your concerns, all the mundane things, family, any of that, it just disappears, goes away. Its mist. Its just nothing but the mountain, every single solitary day.
Im not saying that Ill never get married or have a kid before Im 60. But Ive made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies.
