David Arquette has suffered an injury to his neck during an event which was aired on Game Changer Wrestling.
David, the ex-husband of Friends actor Courtney Cox, previously held the title of WCW Heavyweight Champion during a stint in 2000.
The actor, who turned to professional wrestling, suffered gruesome injuries on Friday.

After the match, he took to Twitter to make light of it all and tweeted: Turns out Death Matches arent my thing.
The 47-year-old star also shared a picture of one of his tattoos, which was covered in blood and even one of his tattoos appeared to have a painful creative makeover.
The film director wrote: Thank you to all the fans for your love Im a stitched up. Miss Elizabeth is crying.
The Scream star announced his return to the ring during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show earlier this year.
He said: Id like to announce my return to professional wrestling!
He also touched on his popular and ironic 2000 stint as WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
I was promoting a movie I did called Ready to Rumble and it just so happened that I won the championship, he explained.
They blamed me for ruining WCW, its no longer around, he joked And maybe I did have something to do with it.

David and Courtney married 1999 and in June 2010 they had a trial separation and finally divorced in 2013.
They share daughter Coco, who was born in 2004, together.
David married to Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina McLarthy in April 2015 and the couple share two sons together.
