She hates camping, sugar-free diets and generally being active.

But Anne Hegerty looked thrilled to be touching down in Australia after being confirmed for the new series of Im A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! on Tuesday.

The Chase star, 60, was pictured arriving at Brisbane Airport after a longhaul flight from the UK to join the newly-announced ITV line-up.

Anne prepared for low-fuss living with a make-up free appearance and already dressed in a khaki colour scheme.

In her first interview about signing up for the show, Anne confirmed that she lives quite a sedentary life, and certainly hasnt been motivated by weight loss.

I think I have put on weight over the past year and I am not going in [to lose] that, she confirmed, adding that shes always refused to do sugar-free diets.

Anne continued: I was the worlds worst Brownie and Girl Guide and I never did camping.

I am pretty sedentary and I spend most of my time sitting on my bum reading things on the internet! It will do me good to have to exercise a little bit more.

Anne joins EastEnders Rita Simons, DIY SOS star Nick Knowles and The Inbetweeners Emily Atack among 10 new celebrities.

The series kicks off on ITV on Sunday night at 9pm.
