Kate Wright has opened up about the adorable welcome home she received following her engagement to Rio Ferdinand.
The former reality star said yes to boyfriend Rio earlier this week after he got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Abu Dhabi.
Returning home on Friday, the couple were greeted with an adorable welcome home sign from Rios children – Lorenzo, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, seven – from his previous relationship with the late Rebecca Ellison.
Taking to her Instagram story, Kate shared an image of the children holding up a series of large, silver balloons which spelled out the words: She said yes.
The cutest ever, the former The Only Way is Essex star wrote alongside the image.
Kate also took to opportunity to share some more snaps from their romantic getaway, though unfortunately for fans she kept her ring finger hidden.
Back log of holiday piks coming through (sic), she commented underneath an image of herself wearing a bright yellow skirt and a frilly white lace top.
The former Manchester United star proposed in style on Thursday, getting down on one knee on a helipad on the rooftop of the plush St. Regis Hotel in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
“The perfect end to our holiday… How could the answer not be yes,” Kate gushed on social media at the time.
Rios children were also at the proposal, with the football star commending his kids for keeping the big secret.
And it appears theyre completely supportive of their father re-marrying, after Lorenzo posted the cutest message of congratulations on Instagram earlier this week.
Commenting under Rios engagement announcement, the youngster wrote: So glad she said yes I am so proud of u dad and Kate love u both so much.
