The 24-year-old was engaged to Ariana but the pair ended their romance, with the pair both acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off.

But Pete, who appears on Saturday Night Live, told fans at a comedy club that he felt like he kept getting kicked in the dick.

During an appearance at the Largo at the Coronet Benefit – with Judd Apatow – the 24-year-old jokingly asked if anyone was looking for a roommate, as he had previously been living with the Breathin singer.

The No Tears Left To Cry singer and the comic confirmed their engagement in June, following a whirlwind relationship.

A source close to the pair added that the two arent ruling out the possibility of anything in the future but it is thought Ariana is struggling after battling through a tough 15 months that saw her Manchester Arena show hit by a terror attack which claimed 22 lives, and the heartbreaking death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September this year.
