Lena Dunham is not a fan of Calvin Harris, after his split from Taylor Swift, and she doesnt care who knows it.
The Girls actress made the confession during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, with her co-star, Andrew Rannells.
During a game of Plead The Fifth, he asked the 32-year-old who her least favourite Taylor Swift ex was – and the This Is What You Came For DJ was the first name out of her mouth.
I want to do right by her on this question, she replied.
My least favourite was Calvin Harris because I felt that he was petty in the public, and who needs to do that?
However, it could have been a very awkward moment for Lena, who was on the same panel as Maggie Gyllenhall, whose brother Jake previously dated the Look What You Made Me Do singer.
Lena was referring to the moment the DJ publicly called Tay-Tay out on Twitter – without actually tagging her – and accused her of trying to bury him over a song they worked on together – before their split in 2016.
In a string of tweets, the 34-year-old wrote: I know youre off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but Im not that guy, sorry. I wont allow it.
He later added: Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make me look bad at this stage though.
I figure if youre happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.
Elsewhere in the appearance, Lena also gave her pal a shout-out for speaking out about politics, urging people to vote, after raising eyebrows over her silence.
Not only did Taylor share a lengthy post on Instagram, in which she endorsed two Democratic candidates, she also spoke about politics in her winning speech at the American Music Awards 2018, earlier this week.
That was really amazing, Lena added, when asked about the post. Im always proud of Taylor. Not only is she an amazing friend to me on a personal level, but shes an amazing friend to lots of people in the world.
She felt it was time for her to talk about politics, and I never judged her for considering that a private domain, but I think she chose a really, really powerful time to speak out and Im so moved and honoured to be her friend.
But one person who wasnt too impressed with her words is Donald Trump, who likes her music 25% less now.
