Katie Price was reported to be missing her children so much while in rehab that she has cried often.
However, it is understood that the former Loose Women host still has very close contact with her children and physically sees them every day.
The 40-year-old model is currently receiving treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at top London rehab clinic, The Priory, which she checked into earlier in September.
It is believed that Katies two children with ex-husband Peter Andre, Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, are living with the Mysterious Girl singer while her youngest kids, son Jett, five, and daughter Bunny, four, are reportedly staying with her estranged husband Kieran Hayler.
The whereabouts of her eldest son Harvey, 16, has not been mentioned until this point. Harvey does not have a relationship with his footballer father, Dwight Yorke, and Katies mother, Amy, is terminally ill with lung cancer.
The insider claimed: Katie has been missing her kids desperately and has been in tears at some points. Shes a devoted mum and time apart from her kids is very hard for her. Shes been Facetiming Bunny, Jett, Princess and Junior every day as she gets treatment. She cant wait to see them again.
However, its been made clear to Metro.co.uk that Katie is a day patient at the rehab clinic so is able to see her children every evening. Like the rest of Katies children, Harvey attends school during the day and is believed to spend time with his mother when she returns home from the facility.
Katies rehab stint comes after weeks of partying for the mother-of-five, including a holiday to Mallorca where she enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Alex Adderson.
The former glamour models family grew concerned for her wellbeing when footage emerged of her rapping: I love coke, after a night out during the holiday.
Kieran, 31, has now spoken out about Katies 28-day stint in rehab and said he hoped his estranged wife is seeking help to save her career, everything.
Metro.co.uk have contacted Katies reps for comment.
