South Korean singer IU will collaborate on a new track by Sunwoo Jung-A.
Sunwoo’s music agency Strawberry Sound announced that the new track will drop at the end of December, although no further details have yet been unveiled.
Sunwoo Jung-A and IU have worked together before, when Sunwoo helped write lyrics for IU song, Jam Jam.
Jam Jam featured on IU’s album Palette, her fourth full-length LP released earlier in 2017.
Sunwoo is developing a name for herself as a collaborator – she has previously worked on tracks with other major K-pop artists including Lee Hi, GD & TOP, 2NE1, and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa.
IU, whose full name is Lee Ji-eun, is a singer, songwriter and actress.
One of South Korea’s biggest stars, IU’s single Good Day managed five consecutive weeks at the top of South Korea’s Goan Digital Chart, tying with K-pop/pop crossover track, Gangham Style.
Good Day and Gangham Style share the record for most number of weeks spent at number one.
Sunwoo Jung-A is an indie artist who has attracted major label attention for her pop-jazz soundscapes, and songwriting ability.
