Caroline Flack and Andrew Brady split recently, just weeks after confirming their engagement.
And it seems as though things between the former lovebirds are getting even more strained – over the Love Island presenters French bulldog.
According to reports, the Celebrity Big Brother finalist allegedly took pup Ruby without the 38-year-olds permission – just before she headed back to Majorca to film the ITV2 dating show.
Despite wanting to keep things amicable, an insider revealed she is reportedly fuming with the whole situation.
The dog was the one thing they seemed able to agree on, they claimed.
She had been happy to share custody of the dog — and for Andrew to disappear with it was out of order.
On top of everything else thats happened it was like a final kick in the teeth, they added to The Sun.
The claims come just after Andrew broke his silence after their split – amid rumours he had met with Celebs Go Dating producers hours after calling things off with the TV presenter.
Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old admitted the reports are true, and revealed his shame at his behaviour.
I never comment on media speculation or stories. But in this instance I feel it necessary to, the former Apprentice star wrote.
Yes I had a meeting [with] Celebs Go Dating after Caroline and I had separated.
However, this was wrong. When someone has no money and nothing to lose they tend to do crazy irrational things. I am ashamed and trying to move on with my life.
Please would you respect mine and Carolines privacy and not try and speculate on who said or did what.
Caroline and Andrew started dating back in January, and announced their whirlwind engagement three months later.
But it wasnt to last and the former Xtra Factor revealed they had split, earlier this week.
Im sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not to be. I wish him all the best, she said.
At least theres a Villa waiting for me. Its back to the ol grafting.
